Four star hotel with 3 star amenities. The staff was extremely nice and let us check in early after a 30 hour travel day (thank you!!). The rooms were nice but lacking some of the extra touches you would expect to find in a four star hotel. They did not have wine openers, an iron, a coffee maker, or wine glasses in the room. The room was sparse and simple with a small TV and the essentials.
The walk from town is a little longer than expected, about 15 to 20 to get to most of the nice restaurants and downtown square. By the end of our stay we found the area was safe enough - we would walk back around midnight each night and although the streets would be completely empty leading up to the hotel we felt safe and secure.
The restaurant at the hotel was good, they were able to accommodate vegetarian diets which was nice!
If you don’t mind being a bit far from town and don’t need the extra in-room amenities this isn’t a bad option.

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just ok, we were expecting something better.
The restaurant was bad for the price of the dishes, you can eat way better outside for less. They also seemed to had problems with supply, a few times they were out of ingredients for some of the dishes.
Mod is a very comfortable and centrally located hotel that has secure parking available across the street.the staff were pleasant and very helpful. The staff were AMAZING and so very helpful. Location was very central and easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc.
Great hotel. The staff are very friendly, great breakfast and rooms are nice and clean. The pool space is really nice too.
Mod is a Nice clean hotel close to very good restaurants.The staff in the reception is extremely friendly and helpful.Our stay and improvised trips to different other cities got way easier with their help. Would definately stay there again if I am in Mendoza.
