The red room and the artwork! Wow. I Loved this place! The stairs were a little noisy on a few nights but not really a huge issue. I'll definitely be back again one day. Thank you. Donna

I had a great stay at this hotel. The people that own it are so friendly and helpful and they have some beautiful artwork around the walls and it is right in the heart of St Kilda. The rooms are very clean and it is walking distance to all the night life. Definitely recommended by me for a stay!
Loved the unique atmosphere of every corridor filled with art. A very comfortable and clean room with great shower. Fabulous location!
The price, location, style, customer service and ease of access are all warranting a 5 star review. The hotel managers Miira and Eric are extremely friendly and down to earth people. The late check in process is seamless, easily one of the best I've experienced, I've stayed in 100s of places across Australia so have a bit of experience with hotels. Tolarno is exceptional, I am a solo traveller and its balanced affordability while still feeling luxurious, in an outstanding location right in the heart of St Kilda, a must stay.
