Food and drink great, lovely ambience. Service is up and down depending on who you get. One of the servers was exceptionally caustic and trying too hard to create an atmosphere of sophistication by looking down her nose at the guests. A little bit more grace would go a long way in improving the experience.
We wish to compliment the staff at Reception as we had to store musical equipment during our stay and they were very helpful. A special shout out to the friendly and super-efficient staff working in the Public Bar where we had a late night meal on Saturday night and then breakfast there on the Sunday morning. The Prince Hotel represents excellent value and we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

We booked a table for 15 to celebrate bday after 10 min. While ordering drinks on the bar three of us been asked to leave because we had fun.
We didn’t cause any drama or a scene!
We payed the tab and left to the bar next door where we stayed till late.
Had a night out with a friend to celebrate our new business venture together Saturday night. We had dinner and cocktails in the public bar and received amazing service from our waiter (male, dark brown hair, we’ve forgotten his name but think it was either Chris or Ben - he deserves a mention as he went on and beyond to ensure we had a great experience). The food was delish and very fresh, and the drinks were brilliant! Will be back!
Tram stop out the front, across the road from the beach, great location. Bed was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise is was a good stay. I would stay here again, but get a diff bed
