I have been working from here for a month now. Probably the best hotel I have stayed in...
Led by a great manager who knows exactly what is going on, but still managed to retain a chilled vibe within the hotel.
All of the staff members (the girls on reception, the bar, the cafe) are genuinely nice people. There isn't a bad egg.
You also cannot beat the location, it is on the 'nice' side of El Poblado. Last time i stayed on the other side and had a completely different experience.
Selina in general is perfect for remote workers such as myself, but the Medellin location is very special. I was very pleased with the co-living package, which gave me my own room, yoga every day, and access to a great workspace. The community here is great, as is the food. Facilities include ping pong table, pool table, old school video games, great kitchen, movie / projector room, cool bar with events (which is open air in a courtyard), in house barber shop, and a roller-skating dance party every Thursday and Saturday. Awesome location in the Poblado as well, walkable to really impressive night / restaurant life. All the people running Selina are really friendly, accomodating, responsive to inquires and requests too. Would definitely recommend!
The space is super cool. There's a lot to do that sometimes you don't need to even leave the building. The staff is super friendly and the overall community is even cooler.
The space is so cool, it had everything to be one of the best places in Medellin but the rooms are too noisy, the stove is terrible, takes forever to cook. They don’t have 24/7 maintenance or even staff so I arrived late, tired and my bathroom door was locked, the only option was to use the shared bathrooms in another floor. Selina Medellin is off my choices in the future.
Awesome co-working space, delicious food, and super friendly staff.
