I worked remotely out of here for a week and it was great. Internet was excellent, 50mbps up and down. My room had huge windows and the shades blocked out all of the light during the night. The staff was extremely friendly. Also the air conditioning was a nice bonus on some particularly hot days.
Great price, customer service and location
I had THE worst room, near reception and kitchen..super loud. Small room with NO premium channels, tiny bathroom (see photos!) Thats me sitting UNDER THE SINK! Great looking on the outside, much better choices for the money. Friendly staff.
Upon arrival in the hotel, man at the reception was very rude, unprofessional, didn't speak any English (luckily my wife speaks Spanish) and casually informed us that they don't have a room for us (even though our booking was confirmed).
He said that they regulary overbook rooms at the hotel and when that happens, they just send the guest to another one of their hotels.
With no appologies for this situation, he just called us a taxi that was supposed to take us to another, unknown hotel (al least they paid for the taxi).
We specifically booked this hotel because of the neighbourhood and restaurants surrounding the hotel.
Taxi then took us to entirely different neighbourhood to a new hotel.
New hotel was nice, but they didn't have a room prepared (it was 7 p.m.) so when they finally escorted us to our room it was not clean and ready for us so again we had to wait for them to find us another room.
Eventually, some 1.5h after the initial attempt to check-in, we were finally in a room.
Watch out with this hotel! The rooms are much smaller than on the pictures and rooms have no windows!! The are humid and do not smell nice. When you ask at the reception why they basically lie to clients with fake pictures they start to argue with you and say that you had to inform while booking that you wish to have a room with a window. I have never seen something like that...
