Staff was awesome.Johnny was super helpful. Food was great upstairs and at the sushi restaurant downstairs. Jacuzzis could be bigger but other than that place was great. Close to alot of restaurants and shopping centers. Def recommend
Mostly I'm offering to my friends and visitors to stay at Hotel Diez in Medellin. Lovely rooms, always clean, good part of Poblado surrounded by the best restaurants, friendly English speaking personal and very tasty coffee at the morning and Sushi at night. Thanks a lot team of Hotel Diez Medellin!
The hotel is located in a prime location. You have many very good restaurants to choose from within walking distance.
I am currently staying here and it's one of the worst hotels I have been to.
- They gave me a very bad room, I had to upgrade to Super Room, which is not listed on Booking.com. Previous room didn't even have a balcony, pictures are misleading.
- Their Super room is just a normal room, I was charged +250K pesos for upgrade, It's still not big.
- The super room did NOT have a hot water (No Caliente Agua!)
- They don't refund you any money when you cancel early. I missed the flight and Sites hotel refunded my 1st day right away. I don't see how this hotel will compete with Sites at all.
- There was a construction noise next to the room most days.
- Hotel is old, things keep breaking apart. The lobby and the room looks boring and dark.
- Breakfast is same everyday, and very basic. Coffee tastes bad.
- My guest came and they didn't let it, there's a curfew we couldn't go anywhere. They have so strict rules, please choose a flexible hotel. Sites and Dix hotels are awesome for example.
- The Coffee shop is not working, and no coffee makers in the rooms
- The sushi restaurant is bad, don't try the sushi there, it's fake.
- The guy at the front desk is weird, like a robot: He doesn't know English and keeps repeating the same thing over and over. He has zero flexibility. They need a cool, warm guy there.
- Only the cleaning ladies are nice, they do extra quality work.
Very organized and the lofts for co-working are amazing
