Well appointed suite with good self catering facilities. Helpful host on site. Great location in Le Pannier and Old Port district in residential area with adjacent primary school. Good local shops and cafes nearby. Steep street and steps access.
Fantastic experience! We booked half a day to enjoy this private spa and we got much more than that! Handcrafted spa products, local treats, a real five stars service!
From the meet and greet till the last minute farewell it has been great service and so much focused on our comfort by the staff all, however LOIC and KARIS Were extremely professional and went the extra mile to ensure we had great service at all times.
I would so much recommend this beautiful hotel and amazing team.

Incredible hotel. Beautiful decor, perfect location and amazing breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing, spacious and clean rooms, but its classy bathrooms and gorgeous wallpaper are what makes them unique and very special.
Pleasantly surprised!
After reading some negative reviews my hopes were not too high for this stay in Marseilles at The Sofitel!
However I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room, just a simple double bedroom with no view but all was in good order nothing old or tatty! The bed was very comfy and the linens were good quality. The Hermes soaps etc will always get a vote from me, nice fluffy quality towels as well.
Breakfast was extremely good. Easily the best breakfast I ever had anywhere in France. Fresh melt in your mouth croissants as well. Huge buffet spread. Excellent selection of fresh juices and even a crepe machine! I was in heaven.

A first works problem!
Due to Covid you need to book a slot at the pool which I just say is annoying and due to this we did not use - the sun also leaves the pool quite early - so if you are thinking of hanging by the pool all day think again! Saying that you are in Marseilles a FANTASTIC city get out and enjoy it!
We arrived by car and did find it strange that a 5 star hotel does not have a bell boy or even valet parking. It would have been nice to have been greeted and directed to the car park by someone instead of having to run in - queue up to be told how and where to park.

Location is great - a short walk to the port or up the hill to The Corniche.
A good quality option when staying in Marseilles
Good location, clean and it has perfect employees, they are all smiley, helpful and kind. I stayed there 4 times, some rooms are very dark and small, some others are very good.
