We had a great stay at le Ryad in beautiful Marseille. The location is great to visit the city, the room, with unique Moroccan style decor, was very comfy and clean. The hostess was really friendly and made sure we felt welcome and well equipped to discover the city. She showed a lot of interest in our trip and where we come from, and spent plenty of time also discussing with other guests about their experience. It shows she cares and that really enlightened our stay. We will come for sure again.
Amazing boutique hotel with a charming hostess. The room was just perfect with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend! 5+++++
Room on 4th floor (Mogador) was good size and with a nice terrace, making mornings and evenings overlooking the city special. Cleanliness was also good and we very much appreciated the host's intro & recommendations for Marseille.
However, we did not appreciate the host getting into political discussions about face masks and the veil upon checkin (inappropriate), an email requesting directions by car not answered (can happen, but access to hotel is not easy). To top it off, after checkout, the host rudely walked into her office neither wishing us goodbye, nor that we come back.
We really enjoyed our stay in hotel Ryad. The owner, Mme Valerie, was very nice and gave us lots of tips and informations about what to visit in Marseile and around. The highlight of our stay - the breakfast in the hotel's garden :-)
