Simply an incredible Riad located in the Marrakesh medina but nowhere near the noisy areas. The hospitality from Lucrezia and the staff (specially Ahmed and Ibrahim) was very memorable and we had a lot of fun taking part in a Moroccan cooking class with chef Fatimah as well. The Christmas dinner we had was probably the best meal of our trip!

Took a cooking class here..the riad is beautiful with the roof top garden being my favorite we've seen in Morocco. The class was a very special treat and all the staff amazing with world class service on all fronts!
What an INCREDIBLE experience we had at Dar Attajmil! How does one describe a simply PERFECT stay? It’s hard as sometimes it makes one sound as if they are not being genuine. As if I was ‘hired’ to write this glowing review.
Nope. Not the case. I write the truth. And the truth is, after traveling for almost 7 months straight, we felt like we were honored guests at Dar Attajmil. As if we were a King & Queen from a faraway land. Yep, service was fIt for ROYALTY!
From the initial booking communication to additional correspondence with Francesca as I was finalizing the plans for my husbands surprise getaway for his 66th birthday. All was handled professionally and promptly. I had everything lined up with the help of Francesca and Ahmed from the room, to the airport pickup, to the vegetarian specific meals (we ate all our dinners as well as breakfast at Dar Attajmil), to the Marrakech Medina tour, to a hammam and massage on-site for each of us and to the private driver to our next stop, Essaouira. And all were PERFECT!
We were greeted at the airport by the nicest man, Omar. Then greeted at the gate by the wonderful Ahmed and taken to Dar Attajmil. We walked into a little slice of Riad heaven when we arrived at Dar Attajmil!
Of course we were served Moroccan Mint tea and cookies. Then shown to our room. Such a comfy space in the Turban Room (it is their smallest but perfect for us, I booked late so only room available as there is just four rooms-how awesome is that??!). Our bed and linens were extremely comfy. Room was so quiet. The bathroom was great. Nice soaps and the towels were thick and soft. The entire Riad was so spotlessly clean and perfect.
Now it’s time for dinner. We had the nicest young man, Yassine as our server. The private dining room was set up for us with rose petals on the table. Food by Chef Fatima was INCREDIBLE. So glad we get to eat a few more of her delicious masterpieces!
After dinner, Yassine served us tea and espresso by the fireplace in the dining room. Amazing experience!
The tour they set up with Hassan was great. We saw so much of Marrakech. Then our treat was the hammam and massages on-site at Dar Attajmil. A must do!! Really. Prices are so good too! Treat yourselves to this luxury.
Of course more meals which included eating up on the beautiful terrace at breakfast. All were fabulous.
The service by ALL the staff and especially the super sweet and smiley Brahim was seriously FIT FOR A KING and QUEEN!
The entire staff surprised Mike on his birthday morning at breakfast with a treat and flowers and of course a rendition of Happy Birthday in Arabic. The memories made were priceless.
Dar Attajmil is definitely THE TOP choice in Marrakech. You will walk away feeling like you have a new extended family that you love and they love you back. Book it now and go. My only hope is that all of you don’t book it completely full when we want to return as we will be going back. I loved being spoiled as every ‘Queen’ should!
Done the cooking experience with local market visit. Great time here.
