A beautiful Riad in the center of the Medina of Marrakech with an incredible view on the Koutoubia. Very nice service and food for vegan lovers !
There are many facets to Marrakech and this is one of the high end ones in my opinion, though the level can get higher. The food was simple yet elegant and the space itself itself was spectacular. You first walk into the shop where you can find high end Moroccan clothes and home goods, then you walk upstairs to the rooftop where you are treated to a pop up photo exhibit along the way. Upstairs you can comfortably enjoy lunch in the shade or have some drinks/cigars in the sun while lounging comfortably. Great place to not miss!!!
We didn’t get to visit due to the ongoing pandemic - this is the only establishment that would not refund our deposit. We called to cancel roughly 3-4 weeks before travel (we were supposed to check in 4/1).
They did offer a credit for future travel up to March 2021 (Which I had to beg for this extension), but I’m not sure we will be able to get there.
As a highly recommended place to stay, as well as one of the highest end of the choices - very surprised they are holding peoples money in times like this.
I’m sure it’s a great place, but gauging customers really shows their true colors.
We had a very good lunch in beautiful settings. The service was tired and not too willing or friendly . I was very disappointed when after lunch I went to the toilets and crossed one of the servants who definitely left the toilets without washing hands. This is not correct nowhere and definitely not what one expects in an expensive place like El Fenn where hygiene should be at its best.
Visited to get a drink on the roof terrace. Waited 15min for our order, did not arrive. Another waiter served us after additional 10min.
Prices are quite high and there is a compulsory service charge - despite of the service being on a low level.
No cash payments, only card.
Please is quite posh, high end, but I will not visit again due to service.
