So far it's good. The front desk, the securities, and others. But my concern is that, the net connection sometimes I suddenly got disconnected. And the one that really annoyed me is that, the wall has... I think have a leak. It has moist and get wet and all of the sudden the floor also get wet. I think there's a leak on the concretes. The floor and on the walls.
If you have extra cash then just get a real hotel. I spent 7 days here for my quarantine and it wasn't the best. You get what you paid for. No toothpaste, chairs and table.
Cable T.V but only 50 channels nothing good all news or talk shows. No drinking/Smoking/Rated R sites. The only food option is from the Chinese restaurant down stairs food is not the best and expensive. If you choose this place for quarantine pls. buy all you need before checking in literally you will be eating same food for 7 days. No fruits/breads just chinese stuff. Staff are okay they don't seem to care about clients which they should have been knowing that they have plenty of customers locked up in the hotel. I regret checking into this hotel I wish I had spent more money instead.
Red Planet Mabini is not for everyone. The rooms are extremely small but clean. And basically all you get is a bed and a bathroom and an in-room safe. Do not expect anything else. The front desk staff is friendly. However, I found the security guards to be too territorial. It's a hotel not a military base. I was quite annoyed by the young male housekeeping staff on my floor. He was acting like he owns the floor and like I had to accommodate him.
Also, the hotel is located in the entertainment district of Malate. You may be put off by some males bringing in guests to their room.
Do not expect flexibility from Red Planet. They are infamous for charging you extra if you check-out a minute late.
