Nice hotel, clean and great service! The only thing we didn't like was that there's only one towel rack. Add at least a hook behind the door or near the toilet just so there's a place to hang another towel. They have a gym which is a plus. Machines, free weights and yoga mats with towels. Free filtered water everyday. Airport pick up, to and from hotel available for minimal fee. Just a few feet away from 7-11 convenience store. A few yards from the Salcedo Park where they hold a flea market every Saturday. This hotel is adjacent to a lot of good restaurants which is a big . Quiet and safe neighborhood too!
The minute I checked in I was informed that there would be no 24/7 front desk which is completely different from what is advertised on the website. I have an unconventional work schedule where I have to work nights. If I knew before the fact that front desk closes at 10pm or that deliveries are not allowed after 8 I would have never booked this hotel.
If you are stuck in quarantine I would strongly not recommend this hotel. You have to follow a strict eating schedule if staying in this hotel. And if you were looking forward to trying out the great food in the surrounding area be prepared to only be allowed deliveries during a 1 or 2 hour time frame. Even then expect the food to get to you extra late. Deliveries take upwards of almost 1 hour to get from front desk to the room. Make sure you also order water ahead of time you get 1 bottle of water per day which is obviously not enough expect to order overpriced bottles of water which at times took 2 hours to deliver! They are sorely understaffed and under prepared for the quarantine.
None of the notes I made where followed. in fact my first couple of days was so uncomfortable I ended up having to take a vacation day from work to recover. As stated I work nights and ask to not be disturbed in the mornings since I would be sleeping. My 2nd day I was woken up by loud banging and shouting of housekeeping for food delivery leaving me with 2 hours of sleep for the rest of the day. I made a call and added the do not disturb sign but the same thing happened the next day! And would happen on and off in subsequent days. I also made a note regarding not being able to eat seafood but fish was still delivered to the room.
And last of all the inconvenience follows you post check out. Be sure to double check your bill before checking out. I was called late at night the day I checked out regarding a mistake THEY MADE in the bill and we're asking to charge me for the mistake.
Overall the rooms look great but completely not worth the trouble of the service provided. Would not recommend during quarantine.
Excellent hotel with spanking clean and large rooms with balcony. One of the best places to pick if you have to quarantine for 6 days due to travel requirements. To top it all, one of the best service staff I have experienced in a long time.
Had an excellent stay in Picasso. Despite the circumstances, the property has maintained its charm. And as always, it definitely feels like home.
Thank you for allowing me to check-in early, for ensuring that safety and sanitation protocols are in place, and just over-all creating an atmosphere of peace and calm amidst the chaos.
Looking forward to more stays soon. :)
This is a designers hotel in Salcedo. Good sanitation against Covid-19.
The cleaning staff are so friendly and kind, and the rooms are so wide in not so expensive price. So I guess it is good cost performance.
However, the front staff are a little stuborn, and the reception call were often no response. I expect the improvements.
The kitchen is quite small which has small cooking stove and small sink. So it is difficult to cook everyday, just washing coffee glass etc..
Plumbings are no problem, but the shower head was broken. Better to replace it if other rooms are the same situation.
Finally, it has big noise in the room which faces to the main road. The building in front of the hotel is under construction, so you will hear the construction sound every weekdays. The room which faces to the another side is no problem, so it has quite big difference between these rooms. If you are sensitive against this kind of sounds, it is better to make sure before booking.
