The midland is a probably one of the prettier hotels in Manchester, with food that's not half bad if you don't feel like stepping out.
Lovely experience, room did not have aircon but had a fan instead. Breakfast in the morning at Mr Coopers was amazing too, will definitely be back.
Rena spa at the Midlands was brilliant and relaxing. Loved every bit of my time here. Will definitely recommend for anyone looking to take time out. Did not stay here so can't really comment on the guest room. Afternoon tea was also perfect. No halal choice on menu, we opted for vegetarian option. Still great. The spa has swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna steam room, relaxation room too.

Paul & 1 other provided us with a fantastic service and made us very welcome. I opted for the Royal Afternoon tea at £38 which included a glass of champagne . Or you can just opt for the Afternoon tea at £28 which is without the glass of champagne. Either way both options are great value for money. Fantastic hotel which is in the middle of renovation. Was an enjoyable experience.
We originally booked for a two night stay at the hotel, travelled from London. The original was too small so spoke to receptionist who kindly upgraded to King room, once we had moved to king room we noticed the heating was not working and the room was quite cold. We explained to hotel who sent someones to check and found the heating was not working, they offered us to move to another room but this was our second time and we had already moved rooms so we told them just to give us a heater. I am quite disappointed with the service. For second night we cancelled and moved hotel.
