One of the worst hotel experience in my lifetime due to these people. In my new year vacation to Manali, my travel agent booked this hotel 'Varah Manali' for 3 nights. First two nights were okay but on third day morning, the hotel guy told me that some government department checking is going to happen and since their hotel building has some deviations (legal issues), they cannot accept guests during that inspector's visit. He asked us to shift to another hotel and to our horror it was a third class lodge quality hotel. In spite of many requests we were forced to stay there without proper dinner and breakfast (included in package) and whole Manali tour got spoiled. The mental agony and pain my family had to experience cannot be described in words. I would suggest never book such hotel where you can be thrown out anytime whenever some department person plans to make a visit.
