Reviews from visitors:
Service is non-existant, there is no breakfast and room was dirty. Bed sheets looked like they had been slept on, then housekeeping inspected for stains and reused again. This is not a cheap hotel either. Don't make our mistake and stay here. Look for better options AHEAD of time. The one plus is they have an underground garage. There are no elevators.
One star only because the roof didnt leak, and they accept pets. Although, they charge $30 per pet per night. There is a very strange smell in the lobby, like old food and incense. I wanted to cancel because of the odor. It also looks pretty dismal.
The room was not clean, either. Someone had spilled lotion or soap or something in the bathroom, and housekeeping didnt clean it. The toilet paper looked like someone dropped it in water. Very cramped. Very dingy. Thin walls...could hear the neighbors clearly.
Hotel just had 1 handicapped room, unacceptable!!! One of my relatives is handicapped and he has to use a walker, I asked the lady for a handicapped chair, she said they didn't have any not even a regular chair so he could shower, not to mention he had to park in the garage and had to go up the stairs when it's really difficult for him, also the pet fee says $25 per stay, upon arrival they charge me $30 PER NIGHT, one of the light was out, the lamp next to one of the beds was broken and also the Wi-Fi is so slow that you might as well just use your data , hotel needs some love, I would never go back to this hotel, horrible!
Stay Away! No hot water after the first night. On going problem if you read back a few months on the reviews. Owner hasn't honored a refund after agreeing to refunding one night. The Mammoth hostel is a better bet for the money if it weren't for Covid.
My reservation was cancelled without notice and the hotel was closed when I arrived. The manager was very unfriendly and told me to go to the booking site (Priceline) for a refund. Priceline negotiated the refund on my behalf, but the entire ordeal added hours to my trip and I had to go to June Lake for the night.
Overall I was able to salvage the night, with the help of Priceline staff, and not this Travelodge staff which was very unhelpful in this situation. Go elsewhere.
