Probably the prettiest Lake in the Eastern Sierra with an Alpine view from the boat dock. The resort itself has been around for over a century so they have it down pretty well. The current owners have been doing it for five decades as well. They run a tight but polite ship. This is by far my favorite resort to visit and stay at.

NO TV in the cabin to watch the playoffs. Didn't want to go to a bar and take a risk with a group of random people. Other than that everything else was perfect. Hiked to Gem lake to catch trout... but the smoke from the fires made us leave early.

Rented a couple boats from here and had an absolute blast. Very nice folks here, great general store and a bathroom by the lake is always welcome. Didn't get to stay at the resort but people looked happy here. Right off the road and easy to access, beaches nearby and a gorgeous lake of course. Thanks

We loved it! Always do. Actually loved the outdoor eating at the cafe they should get more area shaded and keep it. It made it more like a picnic and good food with nature all around you. Just too crowded this year around the town and too many recreational people camped everywhere, not in the resort itself, but made it difficult to fish which is why we come there. They need to limit this so people who want to fish can. Only complaint was the laundry rules. Everyone was wondering why they changed and wanted guests to be able to reserve time who were there less than a month instead of squeezing in or trying to get time in on Saturday's. Other than that would recommend it.
