Reviews from visitors:
We loved our stay at the Emperia High Sierra Hotel. The hotel feels new, it’s also very clean which made me happy during the Pandemic. The room was spacious and had mountain views. There is covered parking which was so nice given it snowed 18 inches while we were there. A delicious pre-ordered breakfast was available for pickup every morning which was such a nice touch since the buffet was closed down. Service was prompt anytime we need anything. And lastly there is a free shuttle out front that gets you to the Mountain in under 10min.
Our only (very tiny) opportunities are Coffee - the room coffee was not good and they don’t offer it for breakfast so we ran across the street to the gas station for coffee. If I were to stay here again during the pandemic I might bring my own (I’m assuming they have coffee at their normal buffet). Also the bed pillows were too stiff for our liking but others might like them! I also wish I’d brought my pillow from home.
Overall would definitely give it 5 stars and would certainly stay here again.
The room was great. However, the customer service was not so good. Almost every time we went to the front desk or talked with the hostesses at the restaurant, we were treated poorly. Additionally, the hotel does not offer any room service right now, which is slightly inconvenient. I would personally rather stay at a crappier hotel to receive higher quality service than what we received staying here.
Clean, nice hotel! Employees were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again next Mammoth visit.
What a fantastic find! This newly renovated hotel tucked away in the center of town behind the Chevron station was a great find! Not only was the staff super friendly and helpful... our room was very clean. You can definitely tell they pride themselves in keeping with all the Covid19 guidelines. The complimentary breakfast was a sheer surprise and a delish way to fuel up before hitting the slopes. This hotel is a 15 min. walk to the Village Gondola, restaurants and shops and literally across the street from rentals, local restaurants and Starbucks all located near the center of town. I would 100% recommend this hotel for your stay in Mammoth. It was well worth the price for its cleanliness and mod decor giving it that boutique hotel/hipster vibe. And, you can bring your dog!!! Not only do I recommend this place, I will certainly return for a repeat stay! The rooms are exactly what you see on the website or better. The convenient location to all Mammoth has to offer is the icing on the mountain.
It’s hard to find a decent hotel in Mammoth. This isn’t the world’s most luxurious hotel but it keeps its promises. Convenient parking, close to the shuttle stop and other businesses. Rooms are updated and extremely clean. Parking is covered which amazing for storms. What stuck out the most was how nice the entire staff was. They were extremely accommodating and professional during COVID. I felt very safe. Free breakfast too, and not some half baked breakfast - real, made from scratch! Only comment is to please use less plastic and styrofoam in favor of more environmentally friendly disposable containers. Also you don’t have to give us every condiment. Wasteful.
