Service: excellent, very friendly staff also in the restaurant and wellness
Room: very fancy, lighted closets, large walk in shower, great bed, large terrace with individual blinds, regular chairs and loungers, cleaned every day, seperate towels for the pool/beach/wellness
Breakfast: perfect, something for everyone, all kinds of spreads (also for diabetici), salmon, fruits, sausages, eggs anyway you like them, pancakes, vegetables, sandwiches, toast machine, sweets (cakes, croissants,...) and so much more
Diner/restaurant: if you if you are a hotel guest you can enjoy the fabulous 4 course menu + cold salad bar for € 17, great service and food
Location: perfect, next to the beach

Great place to stay. Or just to have a brew or coffee with a great view.
We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the whole time. Food is excellent, rooms and facilities are great, especially the rooftop spa and lounge and the different saunas are a delight. Also, the location in Malinska harbor is very good for starting day trips or just hanging around the beach or the diverse bars and restaurants.
The RIVA is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Krk. It‘s very close to the sea and the beach. They have a great spa area and nice treatments. The breakfast and dinner is very good. It‘s one of the most modern and luxurious hotels on the island Krk. The rooms are equipped with high quality furniture and provide a nice view.
To be successful they really need to work on the service. Especially in the restaurant and bar. That’s the only negative statement I‘ve got. Remember it‘s a five star hotel.
