I loved my visit here, I do believe that the room were not in the best of state however the food more than made up for it.
Hostel was clean and neat when we arrived. The first day we got here we told the front desk that our room was very hot: they said that they would fix the temp from the front desk and everything was ok. We gave it hours and then nothing. We went down to the desk day two and again they said , it is fixed, but our room is not 18 Celsius it is very hot. So we ended up cracking the window. The front desk was not concerned with our temperature.
Overall descent clean room very hot. Would not return.
Very modern and well equipped hostel, busy with all the people checking in and the resteraunt. Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
In terms of attractions, the hostel is very conveniently located. It’s also less than a 10 minute walk to Puerta de Sol metro station, and 15 minutes to the airport bus stop. That being said, you won’t get any decent sleep during your stay. The noise on the streets travel up and it sounds like the windows are wide open, despite being shut. I’d give the hotel a 3.5 on cleanliness.
My best experience in Madrid started from this hostel.. the staff is great, friendly and helpful. My two favourite guys are Cosmine the Romanian guy and Jenna my roommate were all kind and open. I’ll surely come back to this hostel anytime I hit back Madrid
