Really nice staff! The place is clean, organized and has such a great interior! I personally didn't enjoy breakfast that much but everything else was great! The neighborhood is also amazing, with every sort of stores and bakeries. I loved being there. And they have pub crawls!! (great to meet some interesting people)
A really affordable hostel in central Madrid! It’s next to a lot of restaurants and cafes and clothing stores as well as near Gran Via. Unfortunately Gran Via station is closed for renovations though but you can go to Tribunal instead.
The rooms and beds are basic and comfortable. It was interesting and unique that my 6-bed dorm was split among 2 floors with the bathroom at the bottom. It was a little confusing to figure out where the common room was because I think it’s also a restaurant. Cheap buffet breakfast available as well as lunch and dinner at the restaurant too!

Sharing a room with other ladies is not my cup of tea apart from that, everything was great. If you are use to "hosteling" and visit Madrid, Than surely stay at Chueca!
Nice place to stay, but a bit too pricey. Very nice balcony. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but cheap and contained most of what we could wish for. The hardboiled eggs were always overcooked so the core was green. This can easily be fixed and will improve the overall breakfast experience. Remember to tip the housekeeping - they're doing a great job!
Woman on reception was really unkind to me when I had lost my purse on the check out. As I was trying to find it she was getting really frustrated with me. I was obviously not intending to leave without paying yet she acted as though I was trying to rob them. Luckily the purse had fallen into someone else's locker.
