Reviews from visitors:
Well located, good infrastructure, good service but during the summer the rooms were boiling hot! They don't use to turn the air conditioner on unless somebody in the room ask for.
Nice hostel. Clean tidy good staff not so expensive. Centrally located. Good transportation connectivity and surrounded by good hotels restaurants and cafes
Good Hostel if you like to socialize.
The rooms are only meant for sleeping in as they are as small as they could possibly be. They want you to hang out in the lobby and other areas of the hostel instead of staying in your room.
If you'd like it to be quiet then this hostel is not for you since there'll most likely be a bunch of loud teenagers up all night.
The bathrooms are like public toilets with shower stalls.
Overall it's a good Hostel but you'd probably not want to stay there for too long.
It's a good hostel, very near the main touristic places and the staff is very friendly.
I didn't like only the price to stay Friday and Saturday. On these days the room were more expensive to stay in.
Probably the worst hostel experience I’ve had. It’s a great place to stay if you just need a place to sleep, the beds are comfy, the key-system was good, the staff was quite friendly and helpful. But if you’re staying in a hostel to make friends/meet other backpackers like I was then DO NOT stay here.
The place was filled with two big groups of school children probably around 14 years old, around 50 in total.. So that really ruined the backpacker atmosphere. Also the free dinner that was supposed to be on Thursday night was canceled for no apparent reason, the tapas tour on Friday that I planned my day around was cancelled when it was supposed to start because I was the only one who wanted to do it, and so was the walking tour at that starts at 12 that I wanted to do on Saturday. The bar crawl on Thursday was almost cancelled as well, but they ended up doing it when we were finally three people who wanted to go.
Met a few people from Way hostel on the classic free walking tour and they really enjoyed the hostel, so I actually booked my last two nights there after being a bit fed up with the hostel. Didn’t end up actually moving as Way hostel let me eat dinner there and join their pub crawl where I finally made some friends! All the people I talked to at Way’s were really happy with the hostel, and all the people I talked to at CATS were pretty disappointed so if your not sure where to stay and are looking for some atmosphere/to make friends I would REALLY recommend choosing Way hostel instead!
