Very nice hotel, close to everything. Friendly and helpfull staff, breakfast were also good in terms of quality and ingredients. The only minus was quite small room with no space for working but it's great place for a weekend. I recommend
The rooftop bar is really nice.
The service is another story however, as I had a bad experience with the bartender.
After we received the bill for our table, I politely asked if we could each pay separately.
The bartender reacted angrily, saying that its not a normal question for me to ask.
I told him many bars allow customers to pay individually.
He reacted angrily again, saying he does not have time to talk to customers.
After I agreed to pay for the whole bill, he told me "next time you come you will be treated differently."
I answered "differently good?"
He replied "maybe good maybe worst..."
Me and my friends were shocked as we are not used to aggressive, angry customer service in Madrid.
Besides that we had a great night, the rooftop bar is really nice.
Stayed several nights in the hotel. Very clean, individual style, big, confortable beds. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is incredible.
This is a story how small things can ruin the whole experience.
But good things first. The hotel is very centric and has it’s concept. Our room was big, very quiet with a very comfortable big bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a coffee machine in the room and they provide cápsulas every day.
The toilet room has a nice design and looks quite modern till the moment you open the water. The rain shower didn’t work at all, the small one was desperately broken. The door handle was broken as well. Very poor bath accessories for a 4 star hotel, you’ll get only gel, shampoo and a soap.
The furniture In the room was a little bit old and from different styles.
The whole impression from this place is - very good idea, but bad realization.
Lovely hotel. Special mention for the receptionist, very friendly and helpful, and excellent English. Breakfast is fantastic
