This is a really charming boutique hotel located on a very quiet street in the heart of Madrid, right next to Sol. It’s within a couple of minutes from el Prado, Cibeles, and Gran Via so has an excellent but not touristic location. The room was very tastefully designed with a huge comfortable bed. The views were disappointing, just looking at an ugly office block. However, the hotel has a lovely charm and I spent three comfortable nights there without any hassle.
Good service and a perfect location near the center of Madrid!

The air conditioning in the hotel has been disabled “for the season.” But it is still quite warm here in October. We are on the top floor and I guess heat rises in Spain just like elsewhere. It is so stuffy as there is no way to activate a fan without turning on the heat. We did open the small window as the hotel staff suggested, and now we have mosquitoes. The street noise was also unpleasant. The bedding has only a thick duvet with no separate sheet.
The hotel provides no ice. Toothpaste was not available.
The location is great and the staff is friendly.
Good hotel smack in the heart of the city. It's not fancy or special, but the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable (ok, I struggled to get the airco in an acceptable position between Off and Polar, as usual). A big plus: great to see that the minibar has reasonable prices. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast. In summary: I'd go again.
