Reviews from visitors:
Our stay at the principal was a dream! The hotel is one of the most beautiful and unique places I have stayed. Their staff was unbelievably attentive, kind, and welcoming.
Jose Carlos made our stay- we have not met someone in the industry as detail oriented and wonderful as him. My boyfriend asked me in passing what I wanted to do for my birthday the next day and Jose surprised us with champagne and desserts.
If you get the chance to visit I 100% recommend!!!!
This place has many excellent qualities. The staff are wonderful and generous, the rooms pretty and comfortable, and DO NOT miss the rooftop views! There’s also a lovely bar with similarly great views and outdoor seating. Bar service is slow, cocktails unimpressive, and drink prices extreme even compared to London though—so just know that going in. Still a good experience and definitely outweighed by everything else.
Beautifully appointed hotel with very nice accommodations. Staff is very helpful with local questions and answers, and services. Would suggest the breakfast as is a pleasant space, good fare and attendants. Location at the end of the Gran Via is pretty convenient. Spent 6 days and would highly recommend.
Small room. Amazing bath. Very clean and highly recommend
Awesome boutique hotel located near the Gran Via. It is on a small side street and if you aren't looking you will miss it. The hotel has a boutique/antique feel to it with a modern twist. The lobby is not on the ground floor so you have to take elevator there. Check-in was easy and seamless. Rooms are nice, not particularly big, and clean. Our view was of the office building next to the hotel. They had a very small fitness center (no treadmill) which was disappointing but they are pressed for space in the center of the city. The rooftop bar and lounge area is great. Nice and relaxing. We also ate on the terrace near the lobby. They serve a small bar menu and it was nice being able to enjoy the food while sitting outside and enjoying the view.
The location is the best part. I would definitely stay here again. It isn't too expensive and for the location and quality of the hotel it is a slam dunk.
