Amazing hotel! The location is very special, offers an unbelievable view. The staff is quick, nice, and helpful. We also tried the 1-star restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised, great quality-price ratio. The spa as well is very enjoyable and the quality of the massage is worth mentioning.
Only improvement point, the equipment of the fitness room could be improved, but that's a small detail in the heaven of this place.
This is a beautiful historic hotel that overlooks old city of Lyon as well as the new. I consider it a jewel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and also very personable. I would definitely return here.
I'd give VF six stars if i could. The staff is one of the most professional and cordial that I have encountered in many years of business and leisure travel. They went above and beyond, especially the concierge Nicolas.
The location and views are very nice. Our room was spacious and well appointed with nice views of the city and a lovely terrace. Breakfast and room service food quality and service also very nice.
Our only disappointment was with the restaurant due to their seating a large group (16 or more) which detracted from the ambiance and service. A very expensive dinner with good food that no one really enjoyed. Management should seat large groups in a separate room and not allow them to detract from what should have been a 1 star experience for everyone else. Future visitors should ask ahead of time if any groups are dining before they reserve a table.
I doubt we would visit the restaurant again but the hotel is definitely one place we would return.

Loved this hotel. Each and every member of staff was a joy and nothing was too much trouble.
I would have given 5 stars but there were a few little things such as the hairdryer wasn't working (soon replaced on request), the shower is in the bath and there was no soap dish in the shower...
However, the wonderful views, delightful staff, exceptionally comfortable bed and the beautiful fluffy towels and bathrobes all made this a fantastic place to stay.
