Great location close to variety of restaurants and bar. Very grand old building beautifully restored. Room was standard european size. We had booked the Deluxe King Room overlooking the hotel complex courtyard and would recommend this room especially the one on the top floor for amazing view. View from the river to the other side is just ok.
Service was limited due to social distancing measures so expect queue during check-in/check-out and long wait time when calling from your room. Breakfast menu/selection was also limited during our stay.
But given the hotel location - there are a lot of other options within walking distance.
Our stay as a Platinum Ambassador was very good. We got a very nice Upgrade and we really enjoyed every minute in the Hotel. The German speaking lady during Check-in was outstanding. Minor glitches were the availability of valet parking staff and the Limited offer at the breakfast due to covid. Thank you very much we will come again.
Probably the best hotel in Lyon by its high price and it’s quality. The hotel is quite expensive but for that price you get a big room with comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast with waffles and all you need. A problem that occurred was that in one of our rooms the air conditioning did not work At all, the problem was resolved when they changed our room to another one. One slight thing about the breakfast, was that one of our poached eggs was a bit over cooked but the other poached egg was cooked perfectly. Service is pretty good. The bar was very impressive with its Beautiful dome as seen in my photo (it was zoomed in by accident so sorry) but it was quite expensive at £22 at a cocktail but if you’ve got money to spend it it’s amazing. Overall I would definitely recommend
Stayed in executive room. Beautiful hotel, excellent service (!), very clean and safe. Noise from outside can be noisy at times.
Bad services, they just want to stole your money!!! Don’t go there
