Wonderfull hotel wit great staff If you go to Lviv this hotel is a must and a great big for the restaurant Mon Chef in Astoria hotel amazing food.
Be careful when you reserve the Superior Room. The website will show pictures of a room with a balcony but this isn't true.
I was disappointed when I asked about this at the concierge and was told that only one Superior Room in the entire hotel has a balcony.
Another disappointment was that the room didn't have a refrigerator, only a tiny snack bar fridge that you have to pay to access and cannot store any of your own food in.
A third issue was that the 20% restaurant discount that was supposed to be included in our dinner's bill wasn't, even after we had confirmed it with our server. I didn't think to have to triple check the bill but apparently this was something I should have done.
Another critique is that the included breakfast, while good, is not a breakfast buffet (as advertised). You simply sit and order from the menu.
However, the first three things aside, my experience was pleasant and I slept very well on my room's bed. I would have given 4 stars but couldn't do it given my "three strikes" rule for premium establishments.
Hotel and staff were very friendly and worked hard to make our stay perfect. The marble bathroom had a heated towel rack and toilet. The bed was comfortable. One suggestion would be to change the location of the TV, as it was too far from the bed to be useful.
Awesome hotel. I can say it was one the best I have been already. The accomodation is awesome. There is a quite thick carpet, avoiding noise from "dinosaurs"(people that step really hard on the floor). The bathroom is very well equipped and the shower is pretty good. The breakfast is really good, several tasty options. Also, if you need to leave the hotel before the breakfast opens, you can order a lunch box. Very well located and easy to find. It's about 15 min by car from airport. The employees are very kind and helpful. I really recommend this hotel! You will not regret.
I am impressed with this hotel. Super nice and clean room. Staff is friendly and polite. The location is the center of the town, you can walk everywhere and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect !
