Perfectly located in Lucca, just 10 minutes from the walled center and 20m walk to the main places. Weird villa shielded by trees, but nice. Room was small but adequate bathroom fine. Host was nice. We stayed for €55 in September. OH and free parking and early check-in possible.
Great place to stay. Near Lucca Old Town Wall (walking distance). The room we stayed was clean and very cozy. Breakfast is good and the hotel areas are very clean and beautiful. Everyone working at the hotel was willing to help and to make your day better.

SCAM – We booked a stay at this hotel in February for April 2019, pre-payment was required by them. We received a confirmation of our stay. We arrived at the hotel, on the scheduled date, to find them CLOSED. There was no one there, no returned calls, no returned email – No Reply, Nothing. They took our money with no response. Do not book here.

Just outside the splendid city walls of Lucca, a beautiful villa from the early 1900s, with a large garden and parking at the rear, houses the bed and breakfast Villa Romantica. The villa is furnished in a shabby chic style and as soon as you enter it seems to be in an English cottage in Cornwall, the kingdom of the country nobility. Floral wallpaper, a small fireplace in the hall, staircase with stained glass windows to access the rooms. Our junior suite is tastefully decorated, colorful and welcoming. There is a tea kettle which is already home to me. The room and bathroom are clean and tidy and a pleasant warmth comes from the air conditioning on. The owner is friendly and affable and leaves us the keys giving us complete autonomy. The next morning at breakfast, varied and abundant even if ordinary, I discover the most beautiful corner. An art nouveau glass window overlooking the garden, bright even on a dull rainy day. A corner of poetry where I would spend hours reading while sipping my tea immersed in the green of nature and at the same time isolated from the rest of the world.
