It's just a friendly family hotel type of place. There is no great luxury. But it's clean, the staff is very friendly: you'll feel at home.
The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, and spotless. The air-conditioning was OK, but not brilliant. The shower cubicle was cramped, and not easy to get in/out off. With COVID - 19 the breakfast items were prepackaged in plastic bags. The amount of plastic used was worrying. All that being said, I would stay again - but would ask for a room with a larger shower and better air-conditioning.
I stayed with my friend’s family during Christmas. The place is charming. It feels like spending Christmas in someone else’s home. It is a family-run hotel. Even it was a holiday, they made feel us at home. There was a personalized touch and interaction, which we appreciate very much, especially a special holiday in a different country.

A great little boutique hotel only a 3 min walk to the wall of the ancient city of Lucca. 2 mins from the station. Clean & amazing staff (thank you so much Valentina & Piero). Highly reccomended
