Very friendly staff, good language skills, stayed for a visit of Lucca two nights there, got a big two room suite for the family. all very clean, staff is seriously taking care Covid measures, gave a good feeling for a healthy and safe stay at this hotel. Ver good parking, by car 5 minutes to the city center. Hence all good, next time in Lucca we would choose this hotel.
Really friendly staff. Communal areas were super clean. Rooms very comfortable and equipped. Restaurant was great with excellent food. Brilliant location as a home base to travel and see some of Lucca and surrounding areas.
Crazy: 27 degrees in the room and the panel were you think you can adjust the temperature is NOT working. Takes a few hours to discover that. You have to call to the reception. Also: They put us on the road side which is very NOISY despite the fact that the hotel is empty because of COVID. Never again a Best Western Hotel...

Best Western Grand Hotel Guinigi is an excellent choice if you are driving and have a car. It is very close to the walled town of Lucca and it is easy to get there on the bus that stops right in front of the hotel and takes less than 15 minutes to get to town and taxis are also an option. The hotel staff were very helpful. Our room was nice and we felt we were lucky to have made such a good choice.
