Nice common areas, not so nice guest rooms.
We booked a studio suite that for two nights ($400/night before tax, fees and valet) right after the stay at home order was lifted and there were very few guests at the hotel. We assumed that we would get a room similar to the main one shown on the website. However, instead we got a dark room at the end of the hall with a noisy view of sunset blvd. There are only two thin windows that barely allow any light in. The room is fairly spacious which is nice though.
Given how few people are staying here it seems like they could have easily given us the nicer studio suit instead. Or at least a room with a nicer view. I understand that this is what we paid for so I can’t be that upset, it’s just a little disappointing for the price.
The lobby and restaurant area is more well done than the rooms. However, that’s all closed due to COVID so I’m basing my opinion of it on a previous stay. The pool is nice but small.
The price we paid would be decent if our room was a little nicer and the other amenities were available.
The staff in this hotel are all awesome! They all go above and above in order to make my stay easier. Offer great credit to your staff, please. It was terrific. The operation, as always, is top-notch. In bed, warmth can not be overcome. The hotel's food is tempting. The overall infrastructure is excellent!
The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. It was a well-organized and pleasurable experience. They handle their clients as if they were family members, and they respond quickly to requests for assistance. This is a hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotelier's hotel Everyone should go see it, particularly those in our region!
It's a fun place to conduct business or discuss some other matter. We had a wonderful time before our flight and would recommend the hotel to everyone!
Came up for the night on business and was really impressed with this place. The lobby looked and smelled posh. I think they have some sort of ambient scenting going on like at the Vegas hotels, which I'm into. Room looked modern and was clean. In the bathroom, they had a little box of toothpaste, a brush, and shaving cream. First time I've seen these as amenities in a hotel room. Came in handy too because I forgot my toothpaste. Checking in and out was super easy. Also had a nice view of downtown. Will definitely be back!
