Real enjoyed this place. It’s small and dark and relaxing. It’s located in the middle of what is normally a busy street. Staff is really kind and welcoming. You won’t be disappointed.

Love the style of the this hotel even though old, it is a timeless staple. I want to say I appreciate Ambrozia at the front desk who was absolutely AMAZING! She was extremely polite and has top notch customer service. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I've stayed at many hotels and have even worked for Hilton and this place has to be the most unique and fun place I've ever stayed at. From check in with the amazing and most hospitable staff member, it was an amazing stay, to say the least. My room had two twin sized beds which were the last option available for my trip, which I won't lie, worried me but they turned out to be fine and very comfortable.
The hotel is located in walking distance to all the Melrose shops, bars, and restaurants and I would definitely tell anything, that has an open mind to stay here.. Hopefully, you are as lucky as I was to have them help you at check-in but I'm sure everyone else there was just as amazing. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for a great weekend! I'll be back for SURE
Stayed here twice. Love the location next to MOCA and across the street from the Broad. Also, it's a funicular ride away from the Central Market which is superb! Beds were comfortable and our room was a good size. Expensive parking and no electric charging. Come on guys! Give Mother Earth some love!
Checked out this hotel for my photo workshop participants today. Having been extremely impressed with their sister houses I wanted to check out this budget version - and liked it a lot. We had breakfast - very nice and the staff was extremely friendly.
We looked at some rooms - if you are from Europe and like the Penta Hotels, you'll like this one. I am a bit put off by the comments below, but then, if some one already starts with "I asked the chick at the front desk...." one instantly knows that "dude" as problems that are far outside the hotel ;-)
