I will not be staying here again, unfortunately I’m here on business. Checked in for a business trip, room was beside a fire pit. I was concerned since I have to wake early and didn’t want issues. Asked to change rooms and the hotel said that I should have no issues. 5 minutes later there was someone walking around in front of my patio door talking on the phone. I called again and they advised that I would be contacted when a room was ready. 2 hrs later I received a call!! I stayed in the room because I was too tired to move at that point.
Next day, I have a family with kids stomping above me. I called down twice and they are still doing it.
Front desk doesn’t appear to be concerned about “the guest experience.”
Not to mention, it doesn’t look like they vacuum the main corridors. Used lollipop stick was on the carpet near the elevator, looks like the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. Also, had hair all over shower wall.
I cannot wait until I check out!! Rooms are updated and nice, hence the two stars and not one.
I stayed here a few years ago back when everything was normal and really enjoyed my stay. Not too much has changed this time around expect for a few things.
Breakfast lol it's a joke but they tried I guess. It's the same box of strange food combinations for a week and then I believe they rotate it out. We stayed Tuesday through Sunday and didn't receive a different breakfast box until Sunday.
No pool or gym of course but the terrace is open to relax.
The most annoying thing, I had no idea about, the fridge is set to the off setting which I didn't realize until it was too late. I'm pregnant and couldn't eat the food we had in the fridge because it had been room temperature overnight at that point. We enjoy being able to cook for a long trip away this is why we choose the RI.
This hotel is walking distance to everything and since you're already paying $22 to park a day might as well park and walk around.
It's also quite noisy! Had to ask to be moved to an inner room which they did no problem and it was better but could still hear through the walls and ceilings. Nothing someone living in a city wouldn't understand.
Everything felt clean. There were santizing wipes available for use. Asked for room service no one ever came by. The app to request items worked occasionally someone would come bring requested items. But a call to the front desk always did the trick.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we interacted. Would stay again after Covid.
Very good overall. Decent price, good room, friendly staff, and great location. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they screw you on parking ($30/night on weekends - valet only - in/out privileges). We hunted around for parking in the area but it was inconvenient so we gave up and parked at the hotel.
We have stayed here twice and while the room are on the smaller side (you can upgrade to larger rooms), the hotel is nicely appointed and the staff is incredibly friendly. The rates were lower than the surrounding hotels both times. The complimentary wine is very nice and fun to meet other guests. This is our hotel of choice going forward. Enjoy.
Nice place to stay. Many restriction due to covid, imposed by states law
