All the staff at The Savoy gave exceptional service during our visit in December. During our visit we got engaged and Marta went above and beyond to make sure it was something very special for us. Highly recommend The Savoy for both wonderful experience, exceptional service and great food and drinks!
Seems to be the best hotel in London and even if it expensive It's worth it
This superb hotel on the bank of the river Thames has 267 rooms.
The first manager was Cesar Ritz (later of the Ritz hotel fame) in 1889. The famed chef Auguste Escoffier was the head chef here for a number of years leaving a legacy of an excellent cuisine.
Popular with Hollywood and one of the best places to throw a large party.
Due to its layout the Savoy has the only road in London that requires you to drive on the right hand side, instead of on the left.
A beautiful hotel, well located, spacious rooms and a bar that is second to none. The bartender was making us drinks that he created for royalty (Princess Diana for one) and the stories that followed were all encompassing. There are a great many options for hotels in London, but if you want the REAL English experience and would suggest The Savoy every time. Can't wait to travel again and revisit.
Absolutely magical, an experience like no other. We went for afternoon tea and got the works. Even for a vegetarian and vegan, the food was beautiful. The staff are so well trained, their service is impeccable. And live music and the decor really finished the whole thing off. I could not be more grateful or happy about my time here, I would 100% come again and recommend to everyone to try it at least once for the opulent experience.
