Not 5 star and would not stay again. For £150 a night you could get yourself a better airbnb for 2-3 days...
I booked and paid for the room online but at check-in the receptionist asked for payment of room and a £100 deposit.
Firstly, the fact that she didn't check I paid for the room already is very unprofessional and they said that the money will be returned within 5 days after checkout! Their mistake and customer has to pay? Secondly, I've never been to a hotel that takes deposits. Usually they just save your card information and you agree that they can take the sum equivalent to what you eat or drink while staying.
Wanted to use the gym which on their website is written as 24 hr access but that you have book and the staff don't tell you when checking in. No mini bar or room service menu, not even a number to call reception on.
First impression of the room is nice and clean but at a closer look you have stained walls and surfaces, shower spraying god knows where and no cotton pads/swabs.
The room is good for 1 but if you stay as a couple you can go mad because the furniture takes up 75% of the space. Small wardrobe space and the direction of the doors opening/closing is so awkward that I banged my toes 5 times in a day.
Definitely not 5 star and definitely not worth the price.
Great place to hangout.
We came yesterday and am staying until Monday the staff just can’t do enough for you here so friendly. Had a table booked at the rooftop bar and had the most amazing night we had the lobster sandwich with sweet potato fries and have to say it tasted amazing. Breakfast was also very nice. We booked a room with a balcony and have got the most amazing views. We are eating in the steak restaurant tonight so am looking forward to that. All in all very good hotel and very good staff
