Mariel Hotel & Apartments offers an excellent location, service and overall value. I have recommended Mariel to those friends who come to Lima with the intent of spending more time (and budget) in the nearby restaurants, coffee shops, Mercado (yes, the one seen in Netflix is nearby) and visiting the many sights the city has to offer. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond, giving this property a boutique-like feel.
Ownership here is very disappointing. We had a stay pushed due to COVID and they would not refund us. I can no longer make this trip due to the vacation loss. Every other hotel and experience in Peru was able to make an exception. Why couldn't they? It was the right thing to do for their customers. We want nothing to do with a business like this.
Excellent hotel with a great location about 60 minutes from the airport.
I really liked the homemade jam and the fruit juices. It was good to see a lot of Peruvian bread because it is very good.
I was very comfortable in the room, with a large bed and a window overlooking the street.
The attention of receptionists, especially Karla and the manager David, was excellent. Good recommendations of restaurants and places to visit.
I liked everything in this hotel and I want to return very soon.
Service was great but if you are booking an Apartment make sure you know what rooms have the AC units. Good Breakfast and very close to the park.
A nice clean hotel. A good breakfast included. Room was small. You can walk to various locations. comfortable bed. Staff was great. Helpful front desk.
