This is a great place to stay if you don't want to be in the middle of the 'tourist zone' and want a quieter place very close to everything. You've seen the map so you know it is in San Isidro, It is located is a walkable neighborhood that has everything. You're a block away from a supermarket, a few paces from two corner stores and a pharmacy, and a couple of blocks from a park overlooking the ocean. If you like to walk, this is a great starting point. If you're just stopping in Lima for a day (say, on the way to Cuzco) then it really doesn't much matter where you stay. But, if you're looking to slow down for a few days and do a bit of pleasurable walking this is a great place. Cabs to Miraflores and downtown Lima are inexpensive and plentiful.
Ok, so that is location. The hotel itself is pleasant, clean, and covers all the basics, with some nice extras. Breakfast (eggs, sausage, bread, juice, etc) Cable TV and wifi are included. Didn't use the pool but the back area is very pleasant albeit small. The pictures on the hotel site are accurate and capture what you get. What they don't capture is the charm of the walking in the local neighborhood. I'm updating to add that the staff is very helpful!
Seemed nice and the staff was very helpful in arranging transfers. We just slept here in transit but it was quite compared to the overpriced loud hotels at the airport where the honking never stops.

Great boutique hotel in Lima. Near enough to Mira Flores, Barranca and ocean; we walked 15 km a day seeing it all!
The Lima stay was post a few weeks in the Andes, the jungle, and Lake Titicaca. Our ‘urbane’ close....
Very courteous & helpful staff. The rooms were clean & cozy. Breakfast was very fresh & delicious
