I've stayed at Vdara twice. Once was in a Panoramic View Suite and this most recent visit was in a King Studio with a pull out bed option. If you have friends in town, the bigger suite is gonna be ideal however if you are solo or a couple, I'd say just get a Studio. I think all the rooms are spacious and Vdara is one of my favorite Hotels to stay at on The Strip. I love how there's no Casino on the bottom floor and everything is pretty close to access. The views are great and the service is there. Be sure to download the MGM app so you can use your phone as a key.
Thoughtfully laid out, gorgeous rooms. Mountain views for days. And what a BATHTUB! Aside from the mini-fridge that holds discounted (not) snacks, the kitchenette advertised is pretty spacious, with a small stove and teeny fridge. Not a frying pan or coffee machine in sight, but there IS a wicked trash compactor in the sink so be sure to bring your kitchen scraps for convenient disposal.
The Vdara was a fantastic stay. One of the only smoke free hotels, I greatly enjoyed my time there. It is not directly on the the strip but is a very quick walk or tram ride there. The hotel does not have any restaurants of it's own but its sister hotel, the Aria, does. Will be choosing the Vdara again in the future.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week. We had the corner suite for the first half and the studio for the second half. The suite was amazing. It was like our own apartment, but it was such a depressing downgrade to go from that to the studio. Although, we did it to save some money. I didn’t like how the corner suite had windows where you can see into other rooms and they can see into yours. The only other thing is that they should have at least one restaurant or room service open 24/7. I don’t always want to walk to the aria or to the strip to get food after 8pm. The hotel is at the end of the strip so you’re like a 20-30 min walk from all the good restaurants that are still opened. All in all, it’s a very nice place to stay (if you have a car).
Nice and clean Hotel. Great views. There is no casino so no smoke smell at all. And it is so easy to get in and out of your hotel. You don't have to walk a mile to get out of the hotel. Very convenient.
