They're old. But.... They're trying!
So much fun, and had the best bartender. Super friendly and awesome; they even looked up how to make a drink we asked for that they hadn't heard of. Plus some of the bartenders flair which is super fun to watch. And they have dancers so no matter whether you're gambling or not, you're gonna have fun and be entertained.
This review is based solely on the casino as I did not stay in the hotel. Good variety of table games with super nice and friendly dealers. Nice to play while listening to music and being entertained by dancing girls. Most of the bartenders were good and friendly, although the one girl was not friendly and didn't seem to want to give me a drink at first even though I was playing and spending plenty on games.
The room was adequate for one but not at all fancy and for two people would be crammed. My room overlooked the neon sign and the windows actually opened but the view was over a side street. Bed was comfortable, shower and bathroom were tiny. The casino is small but the casino host was really nice and welcoming. Parking was a block away in a small, open lot that was available for anyone to use, free for guests.
Very impressed with the longevity of this hotel first of all been in continuous operation for 106 years that is very impressive in this day and age. In addition, the antiques are stunning! The architecture is unbelievable they've been able to maintain the old world charm of the structure believe it or not. To me, this style is timeless I'm not so much into the modern architectures these days I am more old school shall we say. I stayed here approximately 10 days never had a single issue the badger comfortable the rooms are beautiful I'm including photos for your enjoyment.
