The place was nice and the rooms were fine. When I made the reservations, I was given a total price, which I paid up front. However, after I left, I was charged almost $300 extra in resort fees. I didn't know what the charge was for so I called. The operator told me and said I should have read the fine print. Other hotels in Vegas where clear on their fees so watch close and read the fine print when booking here.
Good hotel and casino in the downtown Vegas area. It has a nice atmosphere with many amenities. It is within walking distance of the Fremont Street Experience of downtown Vegas. Prices in their restaurant are a little high. Their rooms could be a little cleaner. Overall it offers an above average stay in Vegas.
I’ve been visiting this casino since it opened and still enjoy it. Recently stayed in the Gallery Tower and it was super nice and cozy. Freedom Beat prime rib dinner always hits the spot give it a try if you haven’t. Now my advice to Downtown Grand time to invest in the parking garage your guests first impression at times is here to begin with. Upgrade the lighting, paint the place and make it feel welcoming it’s like the eyesore of the property but by no means takes away from my overall opinion of the property as being safe, fun, clean and relaxing.
I was very surprised at what this hotel had to offer. We enjoyed a suite while staying here. The furniture was a little out dated but it was very clean. The service was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and informative. Whatever we needed they had for us, quick and in a hurry. I think this will be our new spot for our staycations moving forward.
Love staying here. Entire hotel and casino, always spotless. The staff if extremely polite and helpful. Pool is a good time while waiting for night fall. Tables games and slots have good odds. Give this place a chance...you wont be disappointed!
