The last time we were here, we had eloped and gotten married, and stayed at this hotel. So we decided to stay here again to celebrate our anniversary. Super friendly staff at this hotel. Super easy check in process. Parking was literally right there as well. Fremont street was within walking distance but still far enough from all the craziness. The restaurants inside the hotel are super yummy and fast service. Loved our room as well! Will definitely be coming back!
Probably the best hotel in the downtown area. Reasonable price and has a nice pool with a water slide that goes through a shark tank.
Parking garage is also close and on a back street so easy to get in and out of.
They also have a rental car location on site so you maybe able to get a better rate vs the airport and avoid the fees that come with renting from the airport location.
IMPORTANT- This hotel has rooms available for SMOKING. This can be a huge benefit for those of you who smoke. It can also be a huge negative for those of you who don't and forget to ask for non-smoking as it's something you just assume is standard.
I loved being at the Golden Nugget. The energy there is amazing and there are so many fun activities take part in. The Golden Nugget is home to many affordable restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and very contemporary. Service is 5/5 and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Plus, it is located on Fremont street which is the place to be as a tourist. I’d rate them 4/5!
This Is the classic spot that shows the best of old school Las Vegas fun with every modern comfort. An absolutely wonderful place with some of the best restaurants in the city. The hotel is incredibly well maintained and the accommodations range from the economical to the absolutely over the top elegant. The casino is much larger than you may suspect and is clean and bright - perfect at any hour day or night. The staff is friendly and helpful I am absolutely impressed with everything about the Golden Nugget. It’s a true classic and a hidden gem. Host Charles and team - Thank you for providing such a world class Las Vegas experience! I will certainly be back!
Really great experience at the Nugget for a quick one night stay on the back of a stay at the strip.
* We stayed in the Rush Tower. The room was modern, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was particularly nice
* Plenty of slot machines and tables
* Dining options are more limited than usual due to COVID, however there are still 4 or 5 on-site restaurants. We ate at Claim Jumper. Service was very good and the food, while not fancy, was tasty
* The pool area looks awesome with the backdrop of a tank full of sharks and large fish. We did not get the chance to swim but it looked like it was a blast
* I felt the GN did a solid job of spacing out the gamblers, cleaning machines, and attempting adhere to COVID-19 guidelines
One note: The Fremont street area vibe is always energetic. There is no apparent drop in number of people on Fremont now versus pre-COVID. So social distancing is pretty much out the window if you venture out to the Fremont Street experience.
