It was ok its little bit far from the strip
Plenty of free, safe, and covered parking. Easily accessible via Paradise Road or Las Vegas Blvd. Close to shops but not in a crowded area. Affordable room rates. Contemporary room decor. Clean hotel, management very understanding and willing to assist with your stay. 2 pools, and plenty of elevators.
Here is what I liked. This was a fairly reasonable priced hotel for something near the strip. I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms. They were modern and updated, even stylish. The rooms were a good size too. The parking was kind of a pain because it isn't attached to the hotel, but it was doable. There was also one time we couldn't find a spot and had to drive around and around the parking garage for a long time. Here is what I didn't like. My husband and I had just checked in and had gotten settled in the room and were laying in the bed when all of a sudden a quick knock on our door was followed by the door swinging open. Had we been indecent or in the middle of something, it gave us no time to cover up or be ready. It was a cleaning staff. She asked if everything was okay and we said yes and she left. Like seriously? You do not just go barging in on hotel room.... Besides that the shower and sink barely drained. It was really gross.
Have enjoyed my last two stays at the Sahara. One in June and one this past weekend. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean which is great during these times. The Sahara has been pretty busy both times I've been which has resulted in long elevator lines given social distancing policies. I understand the policy but 20 minutes for an elevator is not great! Other than that, thank you Sahara for a great time (and I even won $ the second time).
Fabulous is the word!!! Gambling, luxurious rooms, stores within the hotel, swimming,, they definitely treat you like royalty,,,, Which they should, Because if your pockets is light this isn't the place for you. So if you come to Vegas, especially on the strip you better have some money to spend cause everything is so expensive. P.S. Beware of all the hidden fees that they or the airlines don't tell you. All the resorts have $ 153.00 dollar resort fee an a $200.00 deposit on the rooms.
