This must be one of the best hotels near Catalina Park. Very nice design in the rooms. Very friendly staff! Good WiFi and you can stream direkt to the TV wathewer you want, excellent! Easy access to the bus stations. We needed to Covid test to fly home and the clinic was just around the corner and we got a discount from the hotel! We used the sun deck and it's nice on the roof with a small tub to chill of.

it is a bank before which converted made into hotel. you can see the big vault in their cafeteria.

Was shifted to this hotel from lemon and soul hotel due to corona issues. Was alittle bit shocked as somehow I didnt get any notice for it although hotel said they were trying to call me multiple times.
Hotel has beautifully designed common spaces of pool, main lobby and a centralised naturally ventilated airwell which is great at corona times. Unfortunately, the rooms while aesthetically pleasing in design, makes little functional sensability.
First room (08-01) I was in had open concept toilet with no doors separating bed from toilet. This poses sound, smell and privacy issues. The mechanical ventilator was connected with the lights so there was no way to enter the toilet with lights without having the loud ventilator sounds, disturbing your partner. The easy solution is to add a pocket sliding door (which room layout can easily accomodate - so hotel should sincerely consider solution)
The next room (10-02) we shifted to makes alot more sense in design of toilet but the toilet has windows and frosted doors. With no blinds on the windows facing external, the lighr shines through the windows and glass doors straight into the bed, making it impossible to sleep once sun is up. The easy solution once again is to add blinds on toilet window to shield lights.
Thankfully, the service staff of the hotel were excellent which made up for the poorly designed rooms. They are patient and positive and really made up for the experience - kudos to them!
There is so much potential in the hotel so hopefully the management looks into some of the basic solutions to make the rooms functional.
