Modern and stylish hotel at walking distance to Lagos center and Marina. Very nice staff, Jorge was very kind and helpful during our stay. Rooftop pool with warm water adds to the pleasure!
Very nice hotel in the center of Lagos. The rooms are very big and quiet. They are equipped with an efficient air condition. The staff is helpful and friendly. It was a great stay at all! Hope to come back one day.
We had a wonderful vacation in Lagos while stayed in Hotel Marina Rio. The location is just walking distance to the train station , ferry and town center. Travelers take public transportation can simply reach the buses to Lisbon or places around this area just next to the hotel. The staffs here were so enthusiastic, they were willing to help us by giving some trip advises, and always with warm smiles on their face.
Our room had a view to the river, the scenery was so stunning!
We enjoyed the down time on the balcony eating snacks and chatting.
Given the effect of coronavirus it is difficult to provide an objective review. Maybe a bit of mood music would help provide atmosphere given the lack of guests for obvious reasons. I was given a twin room facing to the rear (main view is the bus station next door) ideal if you arrive by bus. Small balcony mid size room. Bathroom good size with nice towels. The Lux liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom and shower a bit of a let down. For a 4* I expect something a bit more unique. Made it feel a bit like a Travel Lodge. I was allowed to check in early a nice touch from the hotel. In summary reasonable value for money. Felt like it was operating on skeleton staff, and maybe to encourage guests prices should be slightly lower.
