Reviews from visitors:
Been in Italy 2 weeks, and this was one of our best hotel experiences.
Front desk staff friendly, helpful, and professional.
Fantastic location as it is only a few minutes walk from train station. We walked back and forth between the station and the hotel over 2 days, as we bought a 2 day Cinque Terre train pass which worked really well for us.
Included breakfast at hotel was excellent and served in a nice room with views on the 5th floor.
Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Large bathroom with separate bedroom was fantastic!
Short walk to all kinds of shops in La Spezia. Felt like a pretty safe place in general and usually there were many other people on the streets we walked, day and evening.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Very warm and welcoming staff, the hotel has a boutique feel about it and s great bar and restaurant area, all newly refurbished.Nice room with very comfortable beds and a fantastic shower. The staff member in the front desk ( Marco I think) was very helpful and had a nice friendly manner. I would recommend this hotel.. We even had a hello wave from a lady who lives in a block opposite when we opened the window
Awesome hotel, great bar, friendly staff.
Try not to get a room on 1st floor as you'll hear the doorbell all day. Apparently there's some older rooms not as nice as the one I was in.
Terrible service.
I had to cancel an hour after I booked due to new Covid updates and nobody would return my emails. Booking.com were incredible and tried to help every day too, but were also ignored.
I didn't hear back from the hotel until the 3rd night of my 'stay'.
I had contacted them immediately when I found out I couldn't come to Italy, and hoped they would refund me as the other hotels did. I had contacted merely an hour or so after booking so they weren't missing out.
Horrific service and only care about money. Not even a date change.
During such hard times, we should all be showing each other a little compassion. Not ignoring people and just taking their money!
EDIT: they have since rectified it with credit
Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel (3 star by North American standards), but the location is excellent for exploring the city center and accessing the train station. Really noisy at night, both nights had some sort of heavy bass pounding away into the night... this was during down season...
Free breakfast is nice with a small selection of breads, meats, cheeses and pastries, nothing to write home about
