Typical euro hotel. Small rooms, beds are sometimes two beds pushed together. Breakfast is good. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I quarantine here for two weeks and they worked with any issues I had
Wow, where to start. Me and my co-workers were going to stay in NH La Spezia for 105 days, we decided to move to another hotel after the horrendous 40 days we spent in NH. During our stay we were constantly moved from one room to another. The manager lied to our supervisor that these are safety regulations issued by Italy (we found out this is a lie in our new hotel), just think about it - you rent a room and you sanitize it from who? Yourself? After we wanted to know the reason of our third room change - a person at the main desk told me "we're wasting time, if you don't move ok, but we will sanitize the room even with you in it" Is this normal? I don't think so. We decided to leave and spend the rest of our business trip in La Spezia in another hotel. In my opinion the NH Hotel La Spezia is an awful place to stay and we will certainly never come back despite being now a platinum member after all the days we spent there. You do not deserve the 4 stars.
Expensive and relatively small rooms. They allowed us to book a reservation and then double booked another event after us, not notifying us until we showed up with all our bags. We were forced to travel to another hotel. Breakfast is fairly lame as well.
The hotel felt like a 2 stars hotel but they are acting like a 5 stars.
They told me that the rate was 200+ euro per night, but then I booked from hotel.com with a rate of 150euro and they got annoyed.
Expensive, the bathtub is literally dangerously small.
But good location, otherwise friendly helpful staff, spacious room.
Finally I have to revise my recession. I got a refund (except one night), but they did not check their mailbox for 3 days which is somehow really strange and pretty unusual for such a hotel.
Pretty much disappointed about the service regarding feedback and communication.
We booked the junior suite for 10 days, had to pay the full fee upfront and finally had to cancel. It was clear from the beginning that there will be no refund.
I wrote 3 emails to the hotel and their HQ in GER without any feedback that they reiceived my mail. Very disappointing.
I am pretty much frequently travelling but for sure will never choose a NH hotel in the future!
