The staff was very accommodating. There were several staff members that spoke English which helped immensely.
The hotel has been somewhat renovated, but the renovation is superficial - behind the modern furniture and upgraded bathroom, hides a dated space with old sewer piping, hence the “public bathroom” smell in the rooms. Location is good, the service is okay. Cleanliness - very poor. Will not be staying here again.
P.S. The patio area is still under construction, so expect to nap to the sound of jackhammer.
Nice hotel with contemporary rooms, cozy and very clean amenities. The location is great in front of the bay and very close to shooping, car services, banks and parks. There is ample parking next to the entance, good to accomodate caravans and large expedition vehicles. Restaurant is ok, with good service.

Bathroom smelled so bad they left us an air freshener. That is to say, they knew it smelled like the inside of a the Superdome during Katrina, and choose to put us in that room anyway.
