Lovely little boutique hotel. The decor is on point, the breakfast is vast, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very nice, the grounds are well maintained. Simply lovely. Would definitely stay again if I was every back in La Serena, as I imagine it's the best place in the entire town.
Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, great breakfast and very helpful staff. A few caveats...parking is available but not free and in a secure lot across the street. They essentially require payment in cash...if using credit they will add on 19% tax. Aside from a small portable space heater, the rooms are unheated, though there is a very nice electric blanket on the bed. The cold didn't bother me much, but if you come in the winter and tend to run cold, be forewarned.
Hotel is close to the beach and other sights, like the Serena Lighthouse. It has a good swimming pool, breakfast buffet, restaurant and happy hour from 4 pm to 10 pm.
Absolutely great place to stay. The exterior is interesting architecture (domes), but the insides are equally beautiful, clean, freshly painted, and impeccably maintained.
Bathroom was super clean, brilliant white towels, and plenty of hot water in the shower.
The host/owner was SO incredibly kind and helpful to recommend places to eat, and places to see (and how to transport yourself there in an affordable way).
The place is very conscientious of the environment, with solar-based exterior lights.
Breakfast was plentiful, consistent to Chilean standards.
Wi-Fi worked great. And host/owner even helped us to get English-language programs on the great TVs in the room.
Very secure location.
This chic little hotel is a real gem, especially the wonderful free breakfast at the delicious restaurant. Worth the extra bucks for a quality stay. Definitely reserve ahead during summer!
The pieces are a bit icy around the sector near the beach, windy, but they have air conditioning, and the TV that was very bad for me since I did not see any clear channel, otherwise everything comfortable
For me best hostel in the La Serena. They have really nice roof top you can watch the sunset and they have sunset party sometimes. Also we love their garden. There are hundreds of different plants with birds :) and thanks a lot Cesar, Christina and Mitchel to makes us feel at home..
