We came here in April 2019 with some friends and booked the larger room which could be converted into 2 separate rooms when required. The most comfortable sleep we had on our trip. It was also very spacious which was great for our friends who had lots of luggage and who are very tall people this was great for them to get around and move comfortably.
The owner/clerk was amazing and was very accommodating.
Our breakfasts were included with out package deal and oh my goodness the Japanese style breakfast was so lovely.
The location of this place was great. So easy to go out and sight see as it was just below a temple.
The hot spring bath was a lovely touch too. So nice to soak yourself after a whole day of sight seeing.
100% would reccomend our friends to come here

Best Japanese Hotel in Kyoto under 100$. Nice breakfast, clean room, luxury yukata, everything was great.
