Nice place to stay. In a quiet street with comfortable, clean and simple rooms for our family of 3. Reasonable size rooms.
Right on the edge of Gion and shopping areas and close to a train station and buses so within a very short walk to most of the things you could want.
I thought I wanted to be closer to the main train station but having been to Kyoto I’d happily book here again.
Highly recommended. The location, the size of the room, the facilities - all were great and made it a really good experience for us. We were a couple and we stayed there 4 nights.
It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood. About 5 min walk from railway. There’s a Family Mart nearby.
We stayed in this guesthouse for 3 days and it was amazing. Location of the guesthouse was just perfect. So easy to find and lots of bicycle rent places and convenient stores are located around. It is just 5- 10 minutes to Gion area so you can see around and get back to guesthouse by walking. Bus and metro stations are also 3-4 minutes away. Guesthouse was sparkling clean which was also so good. In our room we have microwave oven and fridge so we bought something from convenient store and had our breakfast at guesthouse. Beds were so comfortable as well. They also provideextra towels, sheets, shampoo, tootbrush and toothpaste. To sum up, we really enjoyed our trip to Kyoto and we are happy that we chose Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi :)
